FSP advises on the sale of Luminex Consulting Limited to Moore Kingston Smith LLP

The Corporate Team at Field Seymour Parkes have advised Andrew Wigmore and Joe Hill, the shareholders of Luminex Consulting Limited (Luminex), on the sale of the entire issued share capital of Luminex to Moore Kingston Smith LLP (MKS).

Luminex is a specialist technical accounting advisory firm serving clients nationally from its office just outside Reading. Its team supports fast-growth SMEs, private equity-backed businesses, AIM-listed companies and multinational groups with a range of technical accounting services, including outsourced group and subsidiary accounts, technical accounting papers, IFRS conversions and project-based audit or transaction support.

The firm also provides accounting valuation services, including purchase price allocations, the valuation of complex financial instruments and share-based payment arrangements.

The transaction will enable Luminex to draw on the broader resources, expertise and reach of MKS, whilst continuing to provide the specialist technical accounting advice for which it has become known.

Andrew Wigmore, Managing Partner at Luminex, commented:

“This transaction marks an exciting next chapter for Luminex and will give our talented team the platform, resources and opportunities to continue developing and delivering exceptional work for our clients. Penelope, Amelia and the wider team at FSP were outstanding throughout the sale process. Their speed of turnaround, pragmatic approach and clear advice were invaluable in helping us navigate the transaction and achieve a successful outcome.”

The team at FSP was led by Penelope Garden (Partner, Corporate) with support from Amelia Calder (Solicitor, Corporate), Anna Zatouroff (Legal Director, Commercial Property), Katie Burley (Partner, Employment) and Richard Adams (Graduate Apprentice Solicitor, Corporate).
