Our International team is geared to offer rapid and practical advice on both commercial and technical matters, and does so from a knowledgeable and experienced background.
Our International team is headed up by Imelda Reddington, who has considerable experience in cross-border matters.
Imelda is supported from within the UK by a team of lawyers; each with their own particular specialism; all of whom excel within their relevant fields and have substantial multi-jurisdiction experience. Our international work portfolio spans both commercial/corporate matters and private client work.
Much of what we do involves US and EU based clients; although we are increasingly dealing with work from Australia and the UAE.

We have worked hard to shrink the gap between our firm’s base and those of our overseas clients. We employ a flexible approach to ensure that time constraints can be met and to enable us to work collaboratively and effectively with others to provide a genuinely multi-jurisdictional legal service.
We work with a number of global businesses based in the area, but have also garnered links following referrals from our Global Advocaten network, and relationships with lawyers and contacts internationally.
Recent matters that we have worked on include:
- Advising The Codan Group on the acquisition of Eagle NewCo Limited – a UK command and control solutions business – from NEC Software Solutions UK Limited for approximately A$22 million. Full details here.

- Advising an international IT company, on a range of matters including vendor disputes, trademarks and ad-hoc commercial matters.
- Advising a global hotelier, in the process of opening numerous new sites in the UK and overseas, on various immigration issues, involved in ensuring their employees are fully compliant.
- Advising a UK Bank in connection with amendment and extension of facility provided to a Singapore owned English Limited Partnership, with security over a portfolio of properties in London.
